Armed guards often retrieve a character from the room and then shove back through - briefly held/restrained. Later on when characters are removed from the scene, bloodied, they are being held down. Main perpetrator is restrained by the researchers.
Depends on your personal level of gore. A head is reduced to a minced meat texture, but not shown much. Bits of blood spray. Some cannibalism. So. Not massively excessive a la Cannibal Holocaust, but it is there. There is a moment where it looks like a character's head is going to get sawn off violently.
Character screaming at a door and coughs/spits up blood. Another character is eating some sort of meat-looking paste out of a tin and spits it back out.
Not a standard hospital scene, but one character is placed in a small room on a hospital bed, bathed in red light, and bandaged up. Characters are shown bloodied on hospital beds.
When the researchers storm the room with guns there is a short sequence of uneven flashing lights/fast-shot sequences. Lasts under a minute interspersed with shots of the gunfire and cannibalism.
