No exact ages are given for any of the characters, but every character is a high school student. There's also quite a lot of explicit sexual content in both text and images featuring these characters. The Steam release of the game removes everything explicit but some sexual undertones are still present.

Depends, the latter half of the game can be considered torturous to the main character. But in a traditional sense, no, all violence is quick and painless except one scene involving bone breaking. Though the pain is not described.

Kind of, there is a chase scene. And one character expresses extreme possessive and manipulative behavior. Other than that, no nothing.

(Vague spoilers) Gaslighting is an extremely vital and important aspect in the final act of the game. Where the protag has his ability to tell fiction and reality apart heavily impaired. As well as a lot of manipulation to make the player hate and distrust another character, questioning what really happened and how they really were.

The death is off screen, but a yowl can be heard in the background when it happens. As a small note the cat is voiced by a human actor so this sound does not sound like a real cat.

Not squashed, but it does get split open. None of it is visual, all in text. I don’t remember it being too detailed but that could just be me.

(Major Spoilers) The third route of the game features the protagonist being kidnapped and drugged. The main focus of that route is finding a means of escape. How violent your kidnapper will be is entirely dependent on what choice you make.

(Major spoilers) In the second route of the game a large focus is put on finding out if the protag's girlfriend is cheating on him. It turns out she is for reasons entirely out of her control. Overall it is framed as a bad thing but you are meant to sympathize with the character's circumstances, and cannot progress in the game without doing so.

A character who presents as feminine is later revealed to have been crossdressing. While the character in question never talks about their gender identity, some of the language used and the subplot in general is upsetting. It should be noted in the uncensored version of the game, the character's crossdressing is made fun of for being fetish.

Due to Totono largely being about galge as a genre, there are many instances of the heroines being sexualized especially in the uncensored version. One character in particular often reduces herself to a sex object and is later on treated that way by other characters. However this is exclusively framed as a bad thing.

There is a side plot involving a character's brother confessing to him. So brief mentions of incest are present throughout. These mentions are exclusively tied to Yuutarou and these scenes are skippable. The relationship doesn't go anywhere and is only used for comedy. The protag is also clearly weirded out by it and expresses it multiple times. (Vauge spoilers) However I should mention that in specific branches of the third route it's heavily implied that Yuutarou actually does get together with his sibling. It's very vauge and entirely missable, but be prepared for that.

The uncensored version of the game features explicit sex scenes and sexual content in general in both images and text. The scenes themselves can be seen as pretty disturbing but no extreme fetish content is featured. It should be noted that this content does have a purpose to the story and it's overall themes and messages. If you'd still like to avoid it the Steam version has all sexual content removed in both text and images, with some sexual undertones still present.

The violence is only expressed through text and audio late into the game. Including some drawn depictions of blood and the sound of bones breaking. I'd say the audio gore is the worst of it.
