In story #3 "Bride Before You," a cat dies between scenes (i.e. not onscreen).

Though there is a cat in story #1, there is no indication that any harm comes to it.

Never on screen or explicit but story 5 could be triggering for survivors of child abuse. The ending shows the villain holding the child's arm in a tight grip and giving a cruel smile when the child realizes he is the villain. He tells the child he can call him Daddy now. The story ends there.

In story #1 "The Lake," a fish is caught by hand and eaten raw. Fish in a tank are apparently eaten as well, offscreen.

In story #6 "Sundown," a little red bird meets the same fate.

No but an adult in story 1 is extremely predatory toward a minor. she is revealed to have a history of coercing minors into sex. She does not succeed with this character, but nonverbally flirts and coerces him.

In story #2 "Brand of Evil," a Black man asks another Black man if he's "one'a them Black and bougie n--s." Though he means the phrase as derogatory, the term itself seems like a typical expression for the character.

In story #6 "Sundown," a white woman offscreen uses the word, shouting, about a Black senatorial candidate.
