A new family moves into the house on Elm Street, and before long, the kids are again having nightmares about deceased child murderer Freddy Krueger. This time, Freddy attempts to possess a teenage boy to cause havoc in the real world, and can only be overcome if the boy's sweetheart can master her fear.
This movie contains 54 potentially triggering events.
There are two lovebirds who presumably get into a fight, and one kills the other. The dead bird is shown bloodied and falls to the floor. It’s very sudden. This was a particular trigger for me and I’m shocked no one has commented on this trigger before in this section.
Not per say. A P.E. teacher is talked about as being predatory towards schoolboys in the beginning section of the film. There's also a scene that caught me off guard, where, (SPOILERS) Freddy grabs at a girl's hips and leg and bites her leg. While not explicit, it could definitely trigger someone, what with the grabbing and upsetting nature of the scene.
The gay gym teach who Jesse finds in "a queer S and M bar". As a side note, there is a fascinating documentary called "Scream, Queen" by the actor who (who is gay) who played the main character about the queerness of this movie.
no idea what the other comment meant by tame, there are many sexual comments and references, and [spoilers] one character is killed after being stripped naked and spanked/whipped with a towel. late in the movie, there's also a sexual scene where the main character, jesse, grabs at lisa's breasts and kisses down her slightly exposed body
There are two scenes where a bus is driven in an unsafe manner. (SPOILERS) In the beginning of the movie a bus is driven into a desert and ends up above a large fiery pit, presumably falling into it. At the end of a movie, a bus is driven recklessly into the same area, putting its passengers in danger.
