A woman has a bruise on her arm due to domestic violence from her husband but the actual incident isn't shown. However the husband is shown being aggressive towards her and the hospital staff
In addition to the previous comment, there's also talk of tears and in episode 7 a mother in labour needs an emergency surgery that involves cutting her genitals to get baby out in time. Mother consents to this and she and baby survive.
If you're delicate to child death or parent death, this isn't the show for you. Episodes 1 and 2 shows the main character having visions of a dead baby. Episode 1 also features a baby and mum whose lives are both in jeopardy. Episode 4 festures a mum in cardiac arrest whose baby is delivered by emergency caesarian. Baby does start breathing but theres a tense minute or so. Mum's heart starts beating again too. I haven't watched the rest of the episodes yet but will update as I go.
In episode 4, a heavily pregnant woman goes into cardiac arrest and her baby is delivered by emergency caesarian. Mum and baby both live but it seems like they won't for a few minutes
Not as of season one, however there is talk about getting psych to evaluate a patient to see if they are fit to go home. The patient discharges themselves before they actually meet the psychiatrist on call.
A young woman cuts off her own labia which might be considered self-harm, but she does this more because of beauty standards than because she's trying to hurt herself
From episode 1 onward, the protagonist has flashbacks and visual hallucinations of a certain operation he feels guilty about. He struggles to sleep and is distracted.
There's a couple who come in for a scan and the fetus is dead so they are told the mother can either take a pill or have an operation to induce a miscarriage
Not as of season one, but there is talk of a minor character possibly needing an "operation" to deal with a fetus with no heartbeat. It's a one-off conversation and is never mentioned again.
In episode 4, a heavily pregnant woman goes into cardiac arrest and her baby is delivered by emergency caesarian. Mum and baby both live but it seems like they won't for a few minutes
There's a scene where a guy is leading a workshop on how the language hospital staff should use and he says they should use 'differently-abled' instead of disabled because disabled is a negative word. As a disabled person myself, this made me cringe but he's meant to be an unlikable character
A mistranslation causes doctors to believe that a cis man is intersex and bleeding from his vagina. This is an honest mistake and is corrected, but one doctor does say that they know the patient isn't intersex "just by looking at them". That felt weird to me.
