This tv show contains 92 potentially triggering events.
In the first episode a man struggling with alcoholism gets blackout drunk and doesn't come home for the night which leads to his wife and daughter being killed by the monsters
A cow is killed graphically by one of the monsters near the end of episode 1. Time stamp is around 45 minutes, skip to after 46.35 if you want to pass this part.
The farm animals are loved by a child character. It is discussed that the animals are going to be slaughtered for food. A cow is slaughtered by a monster in episode 1 of season 3.
S1 Ep10: Yes, there are several spiders! Two characters wake up in the woods surrounded by spider webs, and after a (non-spider-related) jumpscare, spiders start crawling out of the webs and onto one of the characters. They are pretty obviously computer-animated, but they crawl on his bare skin and bite him. Victor has some drawings of spiders as well, so going into the next season it seems like spiders will be pretty relevant to the plot.
In S1 E2 some characters are physically restrained and tied up for a brief period, but it’s not malicious. In the context of the show, failing to restrain them could endanger everyone.
Not exactly but in a way. There is a scene that may be triggering to some viewers where a female character is surrounded by one female and two male monsters, they approach her, she can't escape and start touching her in a very threatening way before the female one kills her.
When the monsters kill people they sometimes cut off their limbs. You don't really see it happen but you do see the aftermath of the limbs lying on the ground.
One of the characters is killed brutally by the monsters. It doesn’t show her being killed but you can hear sound effects, her screaming and Boyd has been made to watch. You see Boyd’s face the whole time, except for a small part in the beginning of the scene.
Julie is a teenager and she sorta sexualizes herself, in a rebellious “dress more provocatively” wants to experiment sexually teenage way. No one takes advantage of her and that story line dies by season 3.
The whole premise is there are 'people' who will come and eat you at night. They don't eat the skin/muscle but they do bite it. And it is implied they eat the organs.
One of the protagonists is the town sheriff, who is shown as a capable leader and generally benevolent authority figure. He incarcerates one other resident and sentences him to capital punishment (though he later tries to backtrack) — both of these are characterized as tough but necessary decisions.
That said, due to the nature of the show, he isn’t representing any larger law enforcement organization, and his role makes sense in context as opposed to seeming like the show runners going out of their way to make the cop the good guy.
A bisexual character deals with feelings for her friend, while trapped away from her fiancé. This isn’t villainised - she is loyal but lonely/unsure of whether she will ever see fiancé again.
It is revealed that Boyd has parcisans disses. There are a few characters who go 'insane' and kill people. Victor is implied to have a few mental disabilities due to him being alone for so long since being a child.
no, but in episode 4 words are shown carving themselves into a girl's forearm. it isn't self inflicted, but this could be triggering. i was caught off guard by it
It is implied that a character is autistic, he does have alot of 'autisim tropes' but it goes with many other mental disabilities he has such as being isolated since he was a child.
it's not very clear at all at this point in time (currently just 2 seasons are out), but it definitely seems like reality is "playing by different rules," so to speak
Tabitha’s son who died (falling off a changing table) is mentioned and Fatima falls pregnant in the 2nd season. She hasn’t had her child in the 3rd season yet.. but her pregnancy has not been normal. If a baby being stillborn, a baby being harmed in any way or a baby being a monster or evil sounds triggering.. I would avoid this show. This won’t end up a happy pregnancy keep that in mind.

There is a pregnant character who became very sickly and on the edge of death in season 3 who then begins eating rotten food and drinking blood, she’s either going to die or her baby is going to be evil or a monster. This pregnancy will not end happily keep this in mind.
One of the characters, Victor, is an adult that shown to be childlike (probably due to mental trauma). Other characters often call him creepy and assume he is going to hurt them or their children so they push him around and yell at him.
early on in season one (i will add the episode when i can), a white man makes some very racist remarks towards a black man who lives with him in colony house
to stretch the definition of homeless a bit, every character in the show is displaced with extremely limited housing options, such as sleeping in the diner. during season 2, one family's house does collapse, and they lose all their belongings with it as well
Multiple shots of human bodies having been picked apart/mutilated by the monsters, as well as verbal descriptions of what the monsters have done to people
