This movie contains 56 potentially triggering events.
A child is neglected which leads to his death. It is also revealed that the mother was intentionally putting his shoes on the wrong feet and causing him pain/minor deformity
A deer with it's stillborn baby still attached hed to it's v****a A tiny dead duckling falls from an unknown height and lands with a thud and rolls a bit it the sand. It is covered with ants as though it's been dead for some time. A fox in obvious pain and, perhaps as someone else wrote, eating his own entrails. A black bird - like Grackle size - appeared to be tangled in some roots and is still alive. The man frees him and he wants it away from him; he hits the bird, even pounding it to death. I have NO idea why this awful things had to be in here. I finally just turned the movie off.
The characters are staying in a cabin in the woods. There is a scene where the man leaves his arm out the window while asleep and wakes up with it covered in leaches.
It's not graphic unless you really watch closely. The child falls from a window at the very beginning, during a scene where his parents are making love.
I would say yes: someone takes it into God own hands to have hours wife quit all her medications because ~he knows better~ than she does about her own mental health
