Not directly in the film, though Calum does let Sophie stay behind or go to activities on her own at least twice. However the theme of the film kind of leads up to this.

There's a scene of some guests sitting around a hookah and smoking weed together, but it's brief and doesn't directly involve the two main characters (aside from the daughter asking what they're doing and the father telling her they're smoking)

At one point, in the strobe-lit rave sequences that are interspersed throughout the movie, "The sound of breathing, heavy, erratic, dictates the soundscape." (Description from Charlotte Wells's script.) The father looks sweaty and pale in that scene, as witnessed by the adult version of his daughter. I think she's creating in her mind a scene for which she was not present. But as other comments here suggest, the father's ultimate fate is handled elliptically and impressionistically. Little is overt, but sadness and loss hang over the film.

An 11 year old girl is wearing a swimsuit, sometimes a 2 piece, for much of the movie and she does have a childish romance with someone her own age, but it’s not sexualized at all. There are also a couple moments near the beginning where you might worry her dad will assault her (they unexpectedly only have one hotel bed, long shots of applying sunscreen)but this does NOT happen and is not even suggested to have ever happened

From what I remember: Sophie uses the camcorder to film Calum's cast peeking out from their hotel shower while the shower runs; Sophie and Calum rinse off under public showers after visiting a mud/clay bath. Potentially others.

There is an anxiety attack right after they sing For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow. The father has his back turned from the camera and is crying and clearly suffering an anxiety attack which I believe was triggered from the song as it reminded him of his 11 year bday.

Up to interpretation. I got the impression the father does at the end, but it’s implied symbolically. He does seem depressed throughout the movie

Not the whole film. Several scenes (including the very first two, at least) are filmed on a handheld camera. The opening sequence is the longest shakycam bit that fills the screen. There is also a scene (sorry I don't remember exactly when or the context, approximately 50 mins in?) where Sophie is filming and the resulting film is shown on the tv. The tv probably has shakycam elements but I didn't particularly remember, overall the scene was steady. Outside of that, there are sporadic shakycam bits, which are fairly brief.

Gestures: one instance of "the finger" - the second time Sophie plays pool with the teenage/twentysomething vacationers (when she leaves Calum behind), two of their friends are kissing and one of them gives the rest of the group the finger.

This film is so odd because it’s absolutely heartbreaking even though nothing bad happens. You get the impression that all the action is happening just outside of what we get to see. The last scene is of an adult Sophie seeing her father at a rave under strobe lights, catching glimpses of him but never seeing him clearly. Then we see her POV as a child on the last day of the holiday when he is filming her, then lowers the camera and walks away. What this means is entirely up to interpretation. Personally I got the impression that he died at some point in the intervening years, possibly by suicide as he showed some warning signs throughout the film. Whatever happens, it still made me cry my eyes out in the cinema
