It wasn't a real struggle, it was just like he wanted her to see something she was depraved off when she was a little girl, he with a friend made a air bubble for her to go under water to go see the flower. But she almost go without air because of her fire, but they got through and nothing happened.

Your mileage may vary. Most of the denizens of the setting have bodies which are insubstantial and can be squeezed, dissipated, ripped apart, or otherwise manipulated, and they still survive. Some characters are burned, but are fine.

I do not know which if any of the actors identifies as having a disability, but there is definitely a disabled read of the movie where fire people are not accommodated by the design of the city. This doesn’t appear to have been explicitly intentional on the part of the studio/writers/etc, but it definitely resonates with disabled fans.

Wade's father (never shown) and Ember's grandmother (shown briefly). The short film CARL'S DATE which preceded the film in theaters references Carl's wife dying, whose photo he kisses before going on his first date since her death.

Mild flinches if you watch it in 3D when tree branches or water is flung at the audience, but otherwise safe. The preceding short film "Carl's Date" has a funny gag when Carl Fredricksen comes downstairs; the music sting that plays when it cuts to his face is pretty jarring though. This happens after the scene where Carl and Dug have a fake conversation.

I had to cover my eyes everytime Amber hit panick attack and exploded, which happend like 3 times I guess. Overall I didn't feel sick or anything during or after the movie.

Not language so much, but there is a general attitude of being unwilling and uninterested in accommodating fire people in element city which creates disability. It’s harder for fire people to find housing, use public transportation, and otherwise get around.

Wade has a non-binary sibling named Lake, who officially uses they/them pronouns, but in the movie, Wade uses she/her on them and is never corrected in-universe. This was likely a mistake on the actor’s part.

The film has been accused of racism for using elements as an allegory for race, as the elements physically harm each other when mixing. There have also been complaints about the fire elementals being Arab-coded, with the belief that this ties into the "bomber" stereotype/myth.

Light "yes" - there are two brief sexual jokes, but no actual sexual content. *********Spoilers!********* First joke: Ember and Wade pass by two tree folk picking fruit off each other, and the trees nervously say "Nothing weird going on! Just a bit of pruning." Second joke: At the very end of the movie, when Ember is getting ready to move, her father tells her that now, he and Ember's mother will have "more time for hanky-panky."

Once the credits start rolling, there are mini animations for a bit to show some of the future of the characters. Plus, there are cute little examples of punny products sold in the store or signs around the city peppered through all the way to the end. But we didn’t see any after-credits aside from the studio advertisements.
