A young man who was sentenced to 7 years in prison for robbing a post office ends up spending 30 years in solitary confinement. During this time, his own personality is supplanted by his alter ego, Charles Bronson.
It’s ambiguous. A dog undoubtedly attacks the main character and he almost certainly attacks it back, but that all happens off camera and it’s left up to the viewer’s imagination.
If you see Charlie as a bully, then yes, he beats up many people. If you see the prison and mental hospital guards as bullies, then yes, they beat up Charlie.
A few times, Charlie shows up wearing face paint akin to clown makeup, but other than that is dressed normally. He doesn’t do typical clown stuff either, just monologues
bronson gets sent to a mental hospital & sees another patient poop into his own hand, he holds it for a while & then rubs it on his face. while it is visible it’s not super close-up or detailed, still really gross though
A portion of the movie takes place in a mental institution. However it doesn't look like a hospital. But the patients wear white hospital outfis and many distressed patients are seen throughout this portion.
Charlie says he isn’t a “pillow biter”, probably taken to mean a man bottoming. Other than that, he or anyone else doesn’t seem to have much of a problem with gay people
depends on what you define as a sad ending. charlie is still in prison by the end, but depending on how you see it, that can either be a good or a bad thing
