Falling in love is tricky for teens Juliette and Calliope: One's a vampire, the other's a vampire hunter — and both are ready to make their first kill.
This tv show contains 34 potentially triggering events.
A now adult man lives away from his family is somewhat implied to have been kicked out / is not welcome there anymore, though we don't necessarily know if it happens as he was a teen or later. It's implied that they were abused and manipulated by their sibling.
Another now adult man is sequestrated by his family.
A teenager is put through something that is most likely meant as a metaphor for conversion therapy. She agrees to it but it looks painful and, in my opinion at least, was convinced to in a somewhat coercive way.
There's also a moment in ep 3 starting at 34:02 where an older man threatens a 16 y/o girl and gets in her personal space. It's not meant to be sexual, but he's telling her that he's going to lie to everyone and say she attacked him and he had to restrain her. He moves to grab her and she kicks him in the balls and flees. Ends at 35:00.
Episode 1 has two "ghouls" (they look like traditional zombies) and episode 5 has a zombie (who looks like a traditional ghost at first). A character takes a photo of the zombie and it looks like they have no physical form.
In episode 5 a dead girl comes back as a zombie and talks like the real person, but it's no longer her. Another character is also overtaken by a snake after it physically enters their body. They act out of character and worry those around them.
Hi guys, emetophobe here! No one vomits in the show, I think the people who said "yes" are referring to a scene in the last episode. One of the characters is heavily coughing in their room but nothing more.
No actual needle is shown, but depending on how squeamish someone is, there is a scene with an IV line. In Season 1, episode 6, right after the 2 couples shake hands over a table, the next scene at 38:58 left, has someone putting tape over an already inserted IV in an arm, but the shot is from a distance, and again, you can't see any needle. In the same scene, at 38:12 left, someone puts a green plastic clip on their own arm to start an IV, but you also don't see any needle there. There's also a close-up of that arm at 38:07 left, but it's just of an IV line that's taped down. You don't see anything going into an arm.
Not exactly, but when a character is being choked they stop fighting and say its ok to kill them, believing that they deserve it which could be triggering
A character is shown having flashback of childhood traumatic memories, linked to being abused by their sibling, while being confronted by their parents about it (S1E7 - around 31/32 minutes)
In episode 1 a character shoots a gun (you'll know it's coming because there is a monster attacking a person with a gun). Guns are seen many times throughout the season, but never fired besides that first episode
