i would not say that the scenes in question are particularly gendered or misogynistic in nature - but characters who happen to be women are objectively brutalized for spectacle due to the nature of the killing game and its body discoveries/executions
a character who has been a lifelong victim of bullying and outcasting directly targets members of the current cast whose actions they feel particularly resentful of
Overall/Prologue - One character in the Killing Game is a kid (14). I voted yes because I personally believe that putting a child in a killing game is considered abuse.
Prologue - One of the characters has a snake tie, but as far as I'm aware the game doesn't actually feature a snake. (If you mean the slang for an untrustworthy person, that could be possible.)
peculiar burns on a character's hands are used as crucial evidence in a case, and chapter 1's execution shows the blackened's hands (as well as the rest of their limbs) being bloodied by falling onto a surface of sharp edges
i personally would not count the "blood under fingernails" instance as finger mutilation - it can be an uncomfortable visual which should be noted, but it is not due to the fingers being injured, it is due to inflicting injury upon someone else (albeit in self-defense)
In the Chapter 1 execution, a character is made to run up an escalator moving downwards towards an active incinerator. When they reach the top, they grab at something which comes loose, which causes them to fall down to their death.
Prologue
- Character opens eyes after going closer. (Close to the start)
- Sudden gunshot sound.
- Not a jumpscare, but they make you think there's gonna be one when it says "You never know what could be hiding behind the corner."
the situation of the entire cast absolutely falls under "depictions of imprisonment or confinement" - they are held in the killing game's facility against their will
chapter 1 - the use of the syringe is not depicted onscreen, but a small mark on the character in question's neck is revealed to be an injection site and it is discussed somewhat
some characters who commit violence can probably be seen as mentally ill, but there are no depictions of mentally ill people as inherently dangerous and violent
Not fully, but BDA's are usually a tiny bit shakey and static. Also when a character gets scared the screen usually mildly shakes. There's also a scene where the MC's vision goes blurry.
In Chapter 1, a character curses the protagonist (and therefore the player) out while flipping the bird during an objection sequence. This character also swears frequently.
In chapter 1, a character is given the ability to access security cameras. They use this to observe people's positions in order to carry out a murder plot. It is unknown how frequently they used this ability outside of the murder plot.
I suppose this more meant romantically, which no - but one of the participants of the killing game is 14 years old in comparison to participants in their 20's.
