Three teenagers are confined to an isolated country estate that could very well be on another planet. The trio spend their days listening to endless homemade tapes that teach them a whole new vocabulary. Any word that comes from beyond their family abode is instantly assigned a new meaning. Hence 'the sea' refers to a large armchair and 'zombies' are little yellow flowers. Having invented a brother whom they claim to have ostracized for his disobedience, the uber-controlling parents terrorize their offspring into submission.
This movie contains 35 potentially triggering events.
A tuxedo cat is murdered by the son with garden shears. The bloody body is shown. My wife fast forwarded the movie for me at that part. 40-43 minutes is the scene. She did say that it wasn't the worst she's seen, very bloody. The cat is a trope furthering the gaslighting the father is doing. "Cats are the enemy of man" or something like that.

A woman takes advantage of mentally-stunted adults who, in a lot of ways, are like children. Their father endorses some of these behaviors as well, but there are no actual children preyed upon.
Could go either way, the children are beaten by the mother and father, and I suppose it wouldn’t be a stretch to call the things they do throughout the film “bullying”.
The sister is forced to have sex with her brother, as mentioned, but one of the girls also is coerced/tricked into giving oral sex to a non-family member. (She does not understand what she’s doing.)
The “children” in the movie are adults, which is why the parents decide to hire someone to sexually pleasure the son at the start. However, there is a very uncanny and disturbing quality to how childlike they act in spite of this.
There is the other mentioned scene, but the two sisters also engage in obviously sexually charged acts because they don’t know better, not actually having sex but things that are clearly recognized as incestuous.
