Fingers get broken, which of course are part of hands, on two or three occasions. One finger is severed by accident by a ceiling fan, with blood splattering onto the screen and a bit from the finger and hand itself. It's worth noting that the writer/director himself is gay, and the film is not homophobic; the slur and depictions of homophobia are fully in context.
I don't think it's well-known in America, but one character is once called a "poofter" in a schoolyard (there are no other homophobic slurs), which here in Australia is a slur that gets thrown around by homophobes. The "F" slur is not used.

It's one of the only things I didn't like about the film. Grace mentions at one point POSSIBLE SPOILERS becoming a stereotype of (I can't remember the exact words but the sentiment was) she'd be a lonely lady with pets around her and no romance. She seems to implicitly think that it's bad if someone doesn't experience romance, and says such things in the narration for a short while, on and off, until she finds someone she takes an interest in.

Yes, occasionally. A person's finger is accidentally severed by a fan, with blood splattering briefly, including onto the camera. I apologise if I accidentally forgot anything else. In America I believe the R rating lists "some violent content" at the end of the description, and I'm guessing that was it; "violent content" didn't appear in the consumer advice here in Australia, probably because it was an accident, so it fit under "mature themes".
