Particularly played for laughs in the first episode where you think the language will at least be censored but it’s revealed that it’s actually the in-universe profanity filter. Once it’s turned off you hear the swearing in all its glory. Season 2 also involves a game with a in-universe profanity filter but it’s more like The Good Place with words swapped out with family friendly ones such as “fudge” instead of f**k once again swearing is otherwise not censored outside of the game
