it’s definitely not a happy ending for any of the characters, but it also doesn’t crush all hope. the ending is interesting to say the least but by no means positive. for reference, if something has a ‘final’ sad ending, i will not watch it, but for this, i wasn’t left feeling upset so if you’re sensitive like me pls don’t skip just because the ending is ‘sad’!

the ending has suho still unconscious in hospital, youngji leaving them behind, beomseok being sent abroad, and sieun moving schools where he inevitably is picked on from the offset. the show literally ends with what seems like sieun about to fight back, so it feels like it has been left open for a continuation — not a feeling of finality
